Don Jazzy signs 4 producers, two songwriters for Mavin Record

Oct. 1 (THEWILL) — Micheal Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, has announced the signing of new producers and songwriters to the label.

Don Jazzy unveiled the four producers and two songwriters via a video shared to his Instagram page on Thursday.

The six talents are Alexander Uwaifo (Andre Vibes), Prince Omoferi (Mbryo) and Oluwadamilare Aderibigbe (Milar).

The others are King Agene David (Prestige), Jackson Okpeku (JVXN) and Chinomso Ohajianya (Sevn).

Milar and Mbryo are the songwriters, while the others are the producers.

“To create great music, talented people need to come together. Producers and songwriters are the mainstays of very famous artists,” Don Jazzy wrote.

“Mavin takes the lead in celebrating these geniuses, who without them music is not complete. Join me today as we bring Mavin producers and songwriters to the forefront. We leave no one behind. »

Don Jazzy said the new signers are tasked with “redefining the sound of Afrobeats.

“For more than sixteen years I watched the industry grow and played my role as a producer and songwriter,” the music label boss said.

“It’s time we gave back to the creatives behind the scenes. Mavin supports new storytellers and soundmen who would redefine the sound of Afrobeats.

This comes a few weeks after Bayanni was unveiled as Mavin’s newest signee.
