BMI and WBYT B100 Bring Nashville Songwriters to South Bend for Annual In-The-Round Songwriters | New

BMI recently teamed up (8/27/22) with Federated Media country station WBYT B100 for the 2nd Annual BMI Songwriters held at the rooftop bar at Four Winds Field in South Bend, IN. Headlining the sold-out show were BMI Nashville singer-songwriters Elvie Shane, Adam James and Shelby Darrall.

BMI singer-songwriter Elvie Shane celebrated several milestones with his single “My Boy” which topped country radio charts and was certified PLATINUM by the RIAA. “My Boy” is from Shane’s recently released full-length debut album. Recidivist. During his career Shane has opened for Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brothers Osborne, Brooks & Dunn and Lady A, to name a few. He is currently opening some dates for Darius Rucker.

BMI Singer/Songwriter Adam James writes for Universal Music Publishing Group and his songs have been recorded by Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown Band. He recently achieved his first No. 1 hit with Chesney’s “Knowing You,” which was also nominated for ACM Song of the Year.

BMI Singer/Songwriter Shelby Darrall, originally from Calistoga, CA, moved to Nashville to pursue her musical dreams. Darrall has co-written with esteemed industry veterans Brett James, Troy Verges and Emily Weisband, and collaborated with artists such as Jake Owen, Larry Fleet and Josh Kerr. GRAMMY-winning studio legend Ron Fair (Christina Aguilera, The Black Eyed Peas, Vanessa Carlton, Lady Gaga) produced Darrall’s debut EP, Entertainment for the broken hearted, which is out now. The first single, “Love Me When I’m Leavin'”, was dubbed “the perfect heartbreak anthem” by People.
