The High Hopes Developmental Center will host its 12th Annual Strings & Stories Fundraiser featuring three award-winning songwriters to be held Thursday, March 3 at the Jamison Theater at the Franklin Factory.

Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased by click herefrom noon Friday.

“After going virtual last year, we can’t wait to be back in person for Strings & Stories,” said Brandy Blanton, Director of Development at High Hopes. “We have moved from a more intimate setting at Green’s Grocery to the more spacious Jamison Theater, so we can not only expand the event, but also provide adequate spacing during these unique times.”

This year’s event will be entertainment-focused with beer and wine served from the doors open at 6:45 p.m. All attendees will receive a special treat from Catering & Events by Suzette.

Tim Nichols, Chairman of the Board of High Hopes and renowned songwriter, will be the emcee for the evening. Interpreters will include:

  • Grammy winner Natalie Hemby, who has worked with Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town and many more. Hemby is a critically acclaimed quarterback on The Highway Women along with Brandi Carlisle, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert. She recently released her second album, “Pins and Needles”.
  • Barry Dean, a country and pop music songwriter who has penned multiple #1 hits for Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Toby Keith and more. He is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and has a daughter who receives services from High Hopes.
  • Marc Scibilia is a chart-topping singer-songwriter, widely known for his 2012 single, “How Bad We Need Each Other,” which racked up over 125 million streams. He has written songs for a diverse range of artists including DJ Robin Schulz, Ben Rector, Rick Ross and Fabulous. He just released his new album, seed of joy.

“The past two years have been tough for nonprofits,” Blanton said. “We look forward to hosting an in-person event again in a safe atmosphere. Funds from events like this are so important to enable us to provide much-needed services to families in our community.

In addition to selling tickets to Strings & Stories, High Hopes continues to seek sponsorship at various levels. Sponsors will be invited to an exclusive pre-party reception featuring heavy appetizers from Catering & Events by Suzette. Sponsors will also have access to premium seats for the show.
