Composers of “Modern Love Mumbai” music album include Ram Sampath, Vishal Bharadwaj, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and many more

Prime Video is set to unveil the music album for its upcoming anthology series ‘Modern Love Mumbai’, the first Indian adaptation of the popular American anthology series ‘Modern Love’.

The music album of this Amazon Original series will feature some of the best Bollywood music composers like Vishal Bharadwaj, Ram Sampath, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Neel Adhikari and Gaurav Raina and the melodies will be performed by note singers like Sonu Nigam , Nikita Gandhi and Meiyang Chang among others.

The music in the series is said to be comforting. “Modern Love Mumbai” is the first local Indian adaptation of the international anthology series. This six-part series was directed by six renowned directors, namely Shonali Bose, Vishal Bharadwaj, Alankrita Shrivastava, Dhruv Sehgal, Noopur Asthana and Hansal Mehta. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 13, 2022, in 240 countries and territories around the world.

“Modern Love Mumbai” is the first of three Indian-language adaptations of the series. The other two language adaptations will be in Telugu and Tamil and the anthology series will be titled “Modern Love Hyderabad” and “Modern Love Chennai” respectively.

According to the creators, the series will take audiences on a heartwarming journey of finding love through the various stories that feature multiple human emptions and explore various relationship dynamics of the everyday common man.

The depiction of love shown in the series will include family love, self love, romance, love for a friend, love that stems from kindness as well as forbidden love.

All local adaptations of “Modern Love” are set to release in 2022, the first – “Modern Love Mumbai” will be released on May 13, 2022.
