Mark Dudrow has been playing the cello in public for at least 50 years. He enjoys sharing cello singing with all kinds of audiences, from festivals to farmers markets. He collaborates with musicians in many genres, including but not limited to chamber music, singer-songwriters, Balkan and Middle Eastern, Americana, tango, blues, jazz and rock and roll…..a few years ago he was even spotted sitting with a super band Norteño at a local biker bar in Garcia CO!
Martha Shepp preaches the gospel of the power of creativity. A multidisciplinary artist, his favorite art forms are at these mature cross-points. She enjoys collaborating with gender-neutral and open-minded artists like Mark, playing life-affirming works that can only stimulate listeners’ innate creativity. In addition to directing a chamber music concert series through the Questa Creative Council, she works at Red River’s top store, Frye’s Old Town & the Jewelry Lady, is an associate editor at Questa Del Rio News, is the accompanist of the Taos Community Chorus, and is grateful to live in this enchanted part of the world.
The concert is on March 6and at 4:00 p.m. at Society Hall, 400 Ross Avenue in Alamosa.
